Publication Policy

IJIPL’s Publication Policy is in line with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines on good publication practice.

Publication Process
IJIPL will accept submissions in line with a call for papers. All submissions must follow the guidelines set out by IJIPL. Following a preliminary review by the editorial board, submissions will be peer-reviewed as per IJIPL’s Peer Review Policy. Selected submissions will be published in the then current volume of IJIPL, which will first be released digitally. The physical publication will occur in the immediately subsequent convocation conducted by NALSAR University.

Focus and Scope
IJIPL is a student-run, open access and peer-review Law journal published by NALSAR University of Law, Justice City, Shamirpet, Hyderabad, India.
The main purpose of the journal concerns being a research tool for practitioners, scholars, students, legislators, and others interested in intellectual property.
The Journal releases a Call for Submission/Papers and published one issue (one volume) per year. Each issue focuses on various aspects of intellectual property and its management. All publications are exclusively in English.

Publication Frequency
IJIPL is published once a year.

Copyright
The contributions accepted for publication and the copyright therein shall remain jointly with the Author(s) and the IJIPL. Any person desiring to use the IJIPL’s material for education purposes, research or private study can do so with prior written permission of the Publisher, by emailing registrar@nalsar.ac.in.
Authors who publish on this journal maintain the copyrights and the publishing rights.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
It releases its articles under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
This license allows anyone to download, reuse, re-print, modify, distribute and/or copy the contributions. The works must be properly attributed to its author(s). It is not necessary to ask further permissions both to author(s) or journal board, although you are kindly requested to inform the journal for every reuse of the papers.

Indemnification
All Author(s) by submitting any contribution towards IJIPL hereby consent to indemnify and hold harmless NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad and IJIPL against all claims, suits and consequences based on any claim of copyright infringement/ unauthorised use / violation of any right which may arise as a result of their contribution being published in IJIPL.

Publication Fees
IJIPL has neither article submission charges nor processing fees.
